Is the work paid?
No, volunteers are essentially unpaid helpers. Therefore, there is no monetary compensation for your work. Nevertheless, you will benefit from many advantages. In addition to insurance coverage for the duration of your work, you will receive:
When will I receive my volunteer clothing?
You will receive your volunteer clothing on site shortly before the event. We will let you know the time slot during which you can pick up your equipment.
Will volunteers be provided with a public transportation ticket?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide public transport tickets at this time.
Will meals be provided?
We offer free catering for all volunteers. Volunteers whose shifts extend into the night will receive an additional snack. Catering will take place in the Volo Center. We strive to provide a varied and healthy selection of food and drink. Special dietary requirements will be taken into account as far as possible and can be specified during registration.
Is there a certificate of participation?
Yes, volunteers will receive a certificate confirming their voluntary work and the period of their activity.
Can I keep the volunteer clothing?
Yes, as long as you complete all your assigned shifts.
