As a Chaperone, you will accompany selected athletes after their competition and ensure that they follow the required procedures and arrive at the designated area. Your tasks include assisting media representatives, helping with organisational duties and supporting the smooth running of the Press Centre. In Race Office & Accreditation, you will be part of a central organisational area and take on a varied office-based role. Your tasks may include supporting the team with administrative duties related to the competition and accreditation. This can involve preparing and handling accreditations, organising documents and assisting with general office tasks. Accuracy, reliability and a friendly attitude towards athletes, staff and other event participants are especially important. This role mainly takes place in an office environment and gives you the opportunity to gain an insight into the organisational side of a major sporting event – without working directly on the course. As a Shuttle Driver, you will help ensure that athletes, volunteers, staff and other event participants get safely and reliably to their destinations. You will travel between different event and accommodation locations, making an important contribution to the smooth running of the event. A valid driving licence, safe driving and good orientation skills are essential. Reliability, punctuality and a friendly attitude are also important for this role. If you enjoy meeting people and being on the move, this is a great opportunity to be part of the event team. Location: Schruns
Action, creative tricks and spectacular runs await you at the Ski & Snowboard competitions. As a volunteer, you will be right in the middle of the action and support the team in ensuring that the competitions run safely and smoothly. You can take on a variety of roles in the start and finish area, along the course as a course marshal or course worker, in Volunteer Hospitality, or at access control. Depending on your assignment, you may support the organisation and supervision of the course, keep an eye on the competition, check access points or help take care of the volunteer team. Team spirit, a sense of responsibility and a passion for winter sports are especially important in this area.
