FIS Freestyle World Championships Montafon 2027

Is accommodation provided for volunteers?

No. Accommodation will not be provided for volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel to and from the event, as well as accommodation if required.

How are volunteer assignments allocated?

Assignments are planned and allocated by venue and sport. As some competitions take place at the same time and the venues can be located quite far apart, each volunteer will generally be assigned one main venue.

Can I choose which competition I would like to work at?

When allocating positions, we will take your interests and availability, club affiliation, and place of residence into consideration.

However, the final allocation of positions is made by the Organising Committee and depends on the actual requirements at the different venues and across the various sports.

Will there be a volunteer uniform?

Yes. All selected volunteers will receive a volunteer uniform, consisting of:

• Winter jacket
• Trousers

Available sizes range from XS to 4XL.

What will the volunteer uniform look like?

The design of the uniform will remain a surprise for now. Further information and details will be announced at a later stage.

Are volunteers also needed for set-up and dismantling?

Yes. In addition to assignments during the competitions, volunteers will also be needed for set-up, preparation and dismantling at the various venues.

These assignments take place in addition to the main event days. During the competitions, we will need all volunteers at their respective assigned venues.

Support with set-up and dismantling is an important part of preparing for and delivering the FIS Freestyle World Championships Montafon 2027.

What happens after I register?

After the initial registration period, all applications will be reviewed by the Organising Committee.

Selected applicants will then be contacted and receive confirmation as well as further information about their assignment.

Does registering guarantee me a volunteer position?

No. Registration is initially an application and does not constitute confirmation that you will receive a position at the FIS Freestyle World Championships Montafon 2027.

Only after the applications have been reviewed and the Organising Committee has contacted you will it be confirmed whether you have been selected and which area you will be assigned to.

When will I know if I have been selected?

After the initial registration period has closed, all applications will be reviewed. Once the allocation process has been completed, the selected volunteers will receive the relevant information and confirmation.

Please be patient during this process – the final allocation depends on the requirements at the different venues, sports and areas of operation.

What happens if I cannot be assigned to my preferred venue?

Assignments are made according to the actual requirements of the event. This includes factors such as the different venues, sports, competitions and the distances between the various locations.

It is therefore possible that you may be assigned to a different venue or area than the one you originally indicated.

In this case, we will contact you, explain the reason for the allocation and discuss with you whether the proposed assignment works for you.

Are there also volunteer assignments outside the competition days?

Yes. In addition to assignments around the competitions, volunteers will also be needed for set-up, preparation and dismantling at the various venues.

What should I consider when registering?

Please provide your availability, personal details, clothing size and preferred areas of work as completely and accurately as possible when registering.

This information will help the Organising Committee with the planning and allocation process.
